Index.dat Suite
Using the Batch File Generation Wizard

This document assumes;

1. You have enabled the Batch File Generation Wizard (See: Settings and Options)
2. You have already run the scan on your system (see: Locating Index.dat Files)

After then scan of your system has completed, and index.dat file's found. You can then click the File Generation button (second from the left), to start the File Generation Wizard.

The first screen you will see lets you know which file's will be included in the generated file (all items with a tick next to them on the main IDFinder window, will be included here).

Clicking Next takes you to the second screen. This screen allows you to add extra files and/or folders to the generated batch file (e.g. when you want to delete the Scandisk .chk file's).

WARNING: Adding custom folders/files is done so entirely at your own risk!!. Unless you know what you are doing, we strongly reccomend AGAINST doing this.

Clicking Next takes you to the final screen. This simply tells you that clicking Next will generate the batch file, along with extra information concerning the use of the generated file.

Clicking Next on this screen, will generate the batch file, and close the wizard.
